Very little. For each microbiome sample, transfer only enough material to reach the indicated fill line on the vial. Do not underfill or overfill the tube, as an incorrect amount may prevent the lab from processing your sample and could require recollection with a new kit.
For the blood sample, leave the Tasso device attached while the indicator dots fill from the top. Once all four dots are filled and blood is visible at the bottom of the sample pod, you may remove the device. If the indicators have not fully filled, remove the device after five minutes. Do not open the sample pod or attempt to add more blood manually.
